The Mara Plains nightly rates quoted are fully inclusive of accommodation, all meals, shared scheduled game activities INCLUDING Night Drives and Guided bush walks, bush breakfasts and dinners within the conservancy, laundry, return Ol Kiombo airstrip transfers, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (excluding champagnes and imported premium spirits)

Children between the ages of 5-16 yrs are welcome sharing with parents in same room (maximum 2)

Hot Air ballooning over the Masai Mara is excluded from the above rates. It is recommended that this is booked in advance. Guests who wish to balloon should book with Adventures Aloft as they launch closest to Mara Plains. Should guests book their ballooning with Musiara (Little Governor’s) or any other ballooning company, please note that it is at least a two hour drive to their launch site and that there is a transfer fee of $75 per person nett return (minimum two) due to the distance involved.

Daily scheduled "air-taxi" flights between Wilson Airport in Nairobi and Mara Plains.

Flights depart twice daily from Wilson Airport in Nairobi at 10h00 and 15h00, arriving Ol Kiombo Airstrip for Mara Plains at 11h00* and 1600*.

Air taxi departs Ol Kiombo Airstrip at 11h00* and 16h00*, arriving back at Wilson Airport in Nairobi at 12h15* and 17h30*.

“*” Indicates the arrival and departure timings are approximate as it depends on the routing of the aircraft within the Masai Mara. The afternoon flight may route via Naivasha and timings are subject to passenger loads

The aircraft used is 12 seater Cessna Caravan and flying time is approximately 45 minutes. The morning’s departure allows for guests to transfer from Ol Donyo Wuas in the early morning before connecting to the scheduled flight for Mara Plains creating a perfect combination or alternatively form July – October 2010 to stay at Mara Plains first and then connect to Ol Donyo Wuas on the afternoon flight

Mara Plains and Ol Donyo Wuas combination Safaris – Spend 7 nights at both Ol Donyo Wuas and Mara Plains and only pay for 6 nights.

Rates are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances due to currency fluctuations, fuel levies and surcharges etc

Comprehensive Medical and Travel Insurance must be taken by all guests travelling to our properties and is a condition of travel

Pp=per person, pppn=per person per night

1. Bookings are accepted on the condition that guests have their own comprehensive travel insurance cover.

2. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit of the quoted reservation cost.

3. The balance is payable in full 45 days prior to arrival date.

4. In the event of cancellation:

• More than 120 days prior to reservation, the deposit is returned net of bank charges.

• Between 45 days and 22 days, 50% of the full value is forfeited.

• Less than 21 days (and no shows) - 100% forfeited

• 5. Guests are required to complete a registration card on check-in.

6. Room / Tent check out time is 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure and check in is 11:00 a.m. on day of arrival (NO LATE DEPARTURES)

7. We reserve the right to review published rates in the event of currency exchange rate fluctuation, increases in costs or taxes, that are beyond our control.

8. Liability:
All bookings are accepted on the specific condition that Bush and Beyond Ltd. acts only as the reservations office for the properties, and assumes no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident or delay to person or property.
